# How do we scan the tickets?

There are three options for scanning tickets: QR code scanning via computer, external QR code scanning with a QR reader, or QR code scanning within the app. Event organizers can also create a scanning link that anyone with the Orbi app can use to scan tickets - more information about this can be found in the guide '[Scan tickets with a scanning link'](https://partner.orbiapp.io/knowledge/scan-tickets-with-a-scanning-link).

#### How to scan the tickets

1\. On the event page, press the QR code icon.

2\. Select your preferred scanning device.

3.0 If you like, you can share the scan link with others. This means you can allow others to also scan tickets for you.

3.1  If you choose to let others scan your tickets, copy the generated link and send it to them.

3.2 When someone opens the link on their smartphone, they'll be taken directly to the the ticket scanner in the app.

 

3.3 If you're an admin and have the same email adress connected to your Orbi account in the app, you can also go though the event page in the app to find the ticket scanner.

That's it,  you're all set and ready to scan tickets!
